Impeachment Impatience

TrumpyTea Pain understands your Trump troubles better than anybody.  That feeling we all get when Trump cranks out another evidence-free tweet yammerin’ about 5 million illegal voters for Hillary or the latest saga about how the Tax Marcher’s were all paid for by mysterious “Deep State” deep pockets.  After bearin’ up under countless Benghazi hearings which yielded nothin’, you’re beyond frustrated how Congress is draggin’ its heels investigatin’ the greatest crime in American History: Trump’s collusion with Russia to steal the 2016 election.

When you feel like you’re gonna flip your lid, console yourself with these thoughts…

  1.  It took 26 months to bring down Richard Nixon after the DNC break-in at the Watergate Hotel.  This was a small, cut-and-dried burglary where the conspirators were caught red-handed, and they were all Americans.  With #TrumpRussia, we are dealin’ with a virtual DNC break-in at the hands of slippery Russian hackers and the machinations of a foreign power’s massive intelligence apparatus.
  2. The case against Trump must be air-tight and self-evident.  Even though Trump’s popularity has fallen and it can’t get up, there’s still millions of droolin’, knuckle-draggin’, Trump-lovin’ Neanderthals that would gladly take to the streets with their shootin’-irons to defend their plump Messiah.  The case against Trump has to be so persuasive that Trumpers will hang their heads in shame and keep the blood outta the streets.
  3. There must be no doubt of Trump’s guilt.  You are talkin’ about accusin’ the most powerful leader of the free world of bein’ a traitor and a crook.  The evidence must be conclusive, pursuasive and complete, not only to all Americans, but to the nations around the world so as not to further damage America’s standing and respect.
  4. The process must have a plan for national healing.  The investigations and pursuant trials must be bipartisan and not appear like one party is usin’ it to overthrow the other.  Otherwise our nation will be more divided than ever.  The Republicans need to be convinced their candidate is guilty as well.
  5. Truth always wins.  You can take this to the bank, fellow patriots.  As a whole, America is still a great moral country and the truth still fetches a premium in our hearts.  Evil will not prevail, but we must do this right, by the numbers and accordin’ to Hoyle.  And when it’s over, we will be a better nation and a stronger people.

  1. I like your writinG but would like to start a gofundme to buy you some letter Gs. Vis a vis, Nixon, this is 45 years later. Technology! Digital evidence! Seriously, if *45 and his flying monkeys aren’t gone soon, this ex-smoker (16.5 years) is buying a pack of Newport Lights and smoking all 20 at once.

    1. Now Trump is making ex-smokers smoke again?! Omg get over yourselves people. If you start smoking again that is on your OWN dumbass. People- they have been tracking his every word and move for 12 or months. IF THEY HAD ANYTHING ON HIM THEY WOULD HAVE USED IT ALREADY.

      1. Congressional hearings have barely begun! So let me ask this, with your reasoning and after a zillion investigations and years of inquiry, do you still believe Hillary Clinton guilty of…..?

      2. So you totally don’t get how investigations and the building of cases works then, huh? Then you should just say that.

      3. Nun, you really need to educate yourself. Possibly the best place to start would be looking up exactly how the process of impeachment, trial and removal works. Then a lengthy stroll though the details of the grounds for impeachment. Quite frankly, there is not the slightest need to even use all the evidence against Trump in an impeachment because of the many other violations he has already committed. However, the whole treasonous mess does need to be fully dealt with, regarding not just Trump but also his family members, staffers, cronies, and any of the GOP leadership.

      4. Nunya, see point 2 and 3 above. Also, there has to be a strategy for action. Who to bring in first to provide the best evidence. This net is going to pull in a LOT of people.

      5. Sort of like Republicans spent decades putting everything Secretary Clinton did and said under a microscope, because if they had anything, they would have used it already?

      6. First part of your statement: It’s was a joke. A grandiosity. Hyperbole.
Second part: refer to the part in Tea Pain’s article that talk about patience, it takes time and don’t rush.

    2. I’ve been smoke-free since 2000, same amount of time as you. Don’t even joke about smoking again! It was so hard for me to quit. But I get the frustration! I feel it too, and yes, today’s digital technology with video and computers etc should be enough to send these goons to the can, for good! It took a long time to nail Nixon largely because most of the scandal was hidden, they had to trace the crime back to the Nixon’s White House. In Trump’s case, he was damaged goods from the start! Plus every week that goes by seems like another Watergate level scandal! How much more do we all have to suffer with this non-sense before they finally bring down orange orangutan and his mob?

    1. The Republicans at the moment are definitely party before country. However there may be a remnent of patriots in the American sense and not in win for the party sense that may cause a voter epiphany to do the right thing.

  2. Impeachment is just around the corner. They have Trump on tape making an offer to Putin to change republican platform and sanctions. Nothing says convincing evidence like being caught on tape. Just as Nixon. Oh wait, he’s dead.

  3. 45 said he was thinking of firing Comey last week, to throw the investigation into turmoil. He knows he’s caught. It is my hope that because this was an act of war, NATO will apply, giving our military to UN and not the traitor-in-chief? Our next elections are tanked before they started and next is Germany – we must act globally to protect ourselves. After 45 & the circus act, Putin needs to go.

  4. We could move faster for the same reasons you claim it must be a slow go. The AG in NY has an investigation going too. The FBI is moving slow on purpose, they have had evidence for a long time. I don’t trust Comey. What’s the hold up with the Independent Investigation?

To say NOTHING about the fact that I’m GOING Flipping CRAZY with this madman & the corrupt GOP in office. Unfortunately, I actually HAVE started smoking again…uhg

    1. is it soothing and wonderful? while i have faith that impeachment is ahead, i’m terrified of possibility of s korea and japan being wiped out in coming weeks, with all the attendant ramifications. if everyone starts dusting off their nukes and looking for the mislaid matches, a delicious smoke might be my final memory before i’m vaporized. happy evening thoughts…

  6. Cigarettes won’t help in this area. We’re talkin’ OG Kush type of impatience. I actually woke up to cloudy skies, rushed to my window to see if we’d been annihilated yet.
The clock is ticking, and we’re running out of time, lest we keep our patience.

  7. Smoke ’em all, if ya got ’em.
    That’s my terrible advice 🤘

I feel super disappointed that not ONE single GOP member, or General, etc hasn’t thrown a hand up and say, ” Um, hey! Pres HairDrumpf cannot hold the codes or power to engage mike right now, mmmk? He’s cornered & feral right now!”
    You know, paraphrasing.

I fear for human beings, bc he IS cornered and feral.

  8. Yup…patience is a virtue here. Read your Watergate histories (Woodward/Bernstein, or better yet Hunter S. Thompson.) There were times in 1973/early ’74 when Nixon’s team was more or less BEGGING Congress to move, because a premature impeachment/acquittal would’ve been politically disastrous for the Democrats. There are also the separate FBI investigations that are bubbling along…and, who knows, maybe a DA somewhere gets a bug up his/her posterior and decides to convene a Grand Jury just for sh*ts and giggles. Point is, we need to SLOWLY turn up the heat on Page, Manafort, Stone, Flynn et al until one of them cracks and goes full-on John Dean. Then–and only then–will we be able to give this fascist regime the burial it deserves.

  9. Great job, Tea.

It is also critical to remember that any leaked evidence of colluding with Russia that is considered classified cannot be used in court, so Comey and other agencies must be able to prove many facts via a secondary means.

We only get one shot at this. The case must be air tight.

  10. Thank you. It’s frustrating to wait and never really know how it will end. But your writing makes perfect sense and it shows you care. We are frustrated because we care too.

  11. I would love to believe that we are a just and moral country where the truth matters but the reality is that we are not a just and moral country. Just for the sample fact that a man like Donald Trump is even president tells me everything! America is no longer great and that’s the truth.

  12. Thank you so much for writing this. I know people are very concerned about the damage he is/will do while we’re waiting but we are kick ass Americans and we will recover from all that. The more important thing at stake right now is our democracy. We need to trust the strength of our Constitution and the systems put in place to enforce it and that will take time. In the meantime we need to exercise our rights of citizens under that same Constitution through peaceful protests, pressuring our congressmen (they will respond eventually believe me) and voting.

Also look into your heart and do on a personal level what you know is right for you: volunteer in causes you believe in, run for office yourself, be kind to your neighbors — even those Trump lovin’ Neanderthals!

And lastly, after you’ve read Mark 5:36, turn to Mark 13. The Son of Man is in all of us folks and we know him when we see him.

And knowing it will be a lomg, long, ugly process which will cause evem more anxiety, massive legislative logjams, handicap investments, totally consume the media reminds me to batten diwn the hatches, consolidate finances, and prepare for the worst.

It will be very painful and ugly, but the cancer that us Trump has to be widely resected and purged

  14. If you really think #Trump’s base will EVER give him up, you’re deluding yourselves. Have you SEEN these people?!

They will find excuses for anything and everything he does, and they will go out of their way and contort themselves in ways that never seemed possible to blame liberals.

It’s just the fact of the matter.
